The QuietTorque™ 45.0 LC is recommended electric propulsion for boats up to 50’ (LOA) and 34,000lbs displacement. The dual power head motor is engineered by Electric Yacht to the specifications of your boat and built and warrantied by Electric Yacht. The systems are liquid cooled providing for high sustained output, ideal for hybrid applications. Typical battery size is 400Ah+ at 72Vdc. These systems can be installed by a competent boat owner, but we do recommend the final commissioning be done with a certified electric technician
The QuietTorqueTM 45.0LC SD is recommended for boats up to 50’ (LOA) and 34,000lbs displacement. Liquid cooling provides for high sustained output, ideal for hybrid applications. Replace diesel engines up to 75hp. Typical battery size is 300 – 600Ah.

selecting the correct size electric motor, in areas with strong tides
and currents, choose the next larger size motor. If your boat is heavy
for its length, size up too. When in doubt, give us a call.
