I got tired of guessing how cool my frig on our boat was. The little adjustment knob i had wasn't telling me anything. Now with the new scad sensistat refrigeration panel, I can tell at a glance how cool my freezer and frig is. The unit is designed for a freeze plate application but I was able to use it on my evaporator unit without a problem. (SCAD techs were able to help modify the default wiring settings.) From the factory the unit has preset high and low cooling setting that are easy to modify to suit your needs. I can now balance my cooling needs with my battery capacity.
