    OutBack EnergyCell Nano-Carbon Batteries on a Mobile Application

    The Western high School Sailor Car Racing Team used this battery technology on a mobile solar charging application. To be specific, it was used on their solar car. The performance of these batteries was far superior then the conventional deep cycle batteries used by other teams. The batteries were able to discharge to lower levels and had an ability to absorb charging current such that they would recharge faster than the conventional deep cycle lead acid batteries. In our opinion, this batteries made a difference and carried the team to winning 1st place in the 2018 SCC Classic Division Cross Country Race from Texas to California. Thanks Mr Landino for helping the Western High School Solar Car team integrate these batteries into their Solar Car design.
