    Sales & Tech Support

I recently purchase 2 Kyocera 140W panel, 2 Genasun controllers, Power Energy meter MTS 01274A for my 30' Morgan sailboat. I purchase these products based on the review from another customer who purchased 2 panels and controllers. I like the idea of redundancy built into a system, One fails you have another working. I like the Power Energy meter for it's accuracy. I have a Link 20 meter so I know it is accurate in comparison.

The Sales and Tech staff were great (particularly given I had called several time on wiring system to the boat) - thanks Mike for your help and clearing things up.

I plan on seeing how system works in terms of keeping batteries charge and then determine whether we should purchase a wind generator.

Again, thank guys for your help and response to my questions. Your service is key to return customers.

Sized this for my 33ft sailboat. The key to this was my install as I could angle the panel 45 degrees towards the bow and 75 degrees towards aft. Runs my fridge, radio, autohelm and some lights. On my 44 day trip after the install all my power needs were covered except two rainy days. If the sun shone my bank rarely fell more than 1 bar down in the morning (at 3 bars down you cut back). With the multi point controller (Genasun GV-10) I got 10 amps after the cloud lifted. Typically I had 5 amps at 8.30am with hazy sun with the panel angled.

    Best marine grade solar panel

The Kyocera 140 watt has the best and strongest frame of any solar panel out there, great for my Bimini top installation!
