The AIR Generator Performance Boost Blue Blades manufactured by Rulis Electrica are produced of high-tensile carbon fiber and are hand laminated with epoxy resin. This material provides the maximum consistency at lowest weight. This material is also used in the Formula 1 and airspace industries.
Therefore these CF Blue Blades are extremely light, but resist even the strongest wind conditions. They have been successfully tested at German WindGuard – according to DIN EN 61400-2 (VDE 0 127-2) at windspeed of 122 km/h (280 MPH) at 5480 RPM. This is an equivalent of sonic velocity at the tips of the blades.
The Silent Power Boost Blades enhance energy production in both light and heavy winds. Their high strength makes them very desirable in rugged applications where high demand weather conditions exist such as offshore oil rigs, Arctic areas and high wind installations.
Each blade set consists of three balance blades assuring minimum unbalanced vibration while producing the maximum in wind energy capture.
These blades when added to an AIR wind generator (formally manufactured by Southwest Wind Power) will increase performance while reducing maintenance (blade replacement) and generated high whisper noise which is notable in high wind conditions.
The blue blades can directly be fitted to a Air X or Air 30 model wind generator. For installation on Air Breeze and Air 40 an additional hub, nosecone and mounting hardware is required. An Air Breeze Air 40 Blue Blade Retro Fit Kit is available.
