Solar PV Systems for Center Console Boats

While fishing do you like to enjoy running equpment on board such as refrigeration, sound systems, navigation equipment or other items but always have concern that you might  run out of power and are very anxious to restart your engines and not comfortable until they are once again running?  Is your fishing expedition typically foiled while fishing because your engines are running causing vibration, noise and smoke. The solar PV system will help to eliminate these problems and make fishing much more pleasurable.

How does it work?

Energy from the sun shines on the solar panel which is then converted to electrical power.  The power (usually around 17V) connects through the charge controller where it is controlled and regulated to the battery bank. The controller regulates the power to assure that the batteries are never overcharged yet it works in complete harmony with your engine alternator or shore battery charging system. Onced hooked up, there is nothing to disconnect or turn off as the solar charge controller blocks the solar panel at nighttime eliminating any discharge.
